Biography
The Connector Coach
Coach Moe has dedicated her life to the sport of Track and Field for over 15 years. Even starting out herself in the sport 20 years ago. Youthful Monique could be seen racing friends down the streets of Philadelphia. Once making the transition from high school athletics to collegiate (Widener University) athletics, Monique had the opportunity to learn the sport and master the technical aspects of the short hurdles and sprints. Shortly, after competing in multiple championships races at WU, Monique retired and focused her time on coaching high school Student-Athletes at West Philadelphia Catholic HS where she would remain for a number of years. Over the many years of coaching, Monique has seen the challenges that many Student-Athletes face on and off the track field. As a result, her formal training in the field of Social Work, as a practitioner, gave her the skills to provide adequate help and resources to Student-Athletes and their families.
Monique teaches not only student-athletes but also communities how to enhance their individual and collective well-being. Monique is a connector of resources and ideas for CHCC, and all that she impacts. Presently, Monique is an Assistant Coach at Penn Wood HS.
